Creating a one-time discount offer on a Webflow site
Whether it’s a disclaimer, an informational pop-up, a discount offer or anything else, some things you might want to only display to users once.
This guide will help you add elements to your page that will disappear on a second visit.
To create a one-time discount offer on your Webflow site, we’re going to use MemberScript #128 – Hide Elements after They’ve Been Seen. Follow the link to get the code you’ll need to add to your page and watch a video tutorial on how to set everything up.
Setting it up
Begin by creating and styling the element you want to hide on future visits and add the following attribute to it:
· ms-code-show-once=”WhateverYouWant”
Finally, all you have to do is set it to display:none.
Making it work
Now that you’ve got everything set up in Webflow, all you need to do is add the MemberScript #128 custom code to your page, before the closing body tag.
Keep in mind that the code will make the element you added display as a block when it’s visible.
Schlussfolgerung
That’s everything, you can now go ahead and test the disappearing element on your live site.
If you want to use our demo project to get you started, just click the button below to add it to your Webflow site.
