5 Best Webflow AI Business Templates

The rise of generative AI (genAI), encompassing both large language models (LLMs) and image generation tools, has birthed a burgeoning industry. Businesses leveraging these tools to create and distribute content are witnessing explosive growth. This surge presents a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs eager to explore genAI's potential and capture a growing audience. With AI set to revolutionize business operations across the board, now is the opportune moment to establish your foothold in this transformative landscape.

Different Types of AI Businesses

AI-integrated SaaS: These platforms serve as intermediaries, connecting users to genAI tools via API. They often act as "wrappers," simplifying the genAI model or LLM for user-friendly access. The core of these businesses may revolve around customizing "prompts" or integrating "processes" to create unique offerings.

Some of the key terminology in a business like this include:

  • Prompts are the starting point for generating content with AI. Crafting effective prompts is becoming a sought-after skill, as it can significantly enhance the quality and relevance of generated content.
  • Integrations involve the seamless connection of genAI tools with other software, offering a composite solution to users. They can also handle things like data storage, user accounts (ahem…), or other product features.

The ultimate output, known as "completions," are the texts or images produced by the LLMs, serving as the primary product for these companies

Generative Content Showcasing: With the cost of generating AI content currently low, businesses are exploring models to showcase or sell AI-created videos, e-books, and images. This approach offers a pathway into the genAI ecosystem and the opportunity for new client engagements. While not easily monetizable, there is an increasing demand for AI artists and creators to showcase their work (and there is not yet a major incumbent platform for this kind of work).

Generative Content Agencies: For those inclined towards service provision rather than product development, starting an agency focused on content or image generation is a viable route. Such agencies could specialize in creating marketing materials, like AI-generated product images for brands, thus carving out unique niches within the AI space. This has a quicker route to monetization, but also faces much more competition.

The Five Best AI Business Templates

Because of the explosive development in generative AI in the last year, many of the templates for AI websites or related SaaS require some form of payment. While this cost may not be incurred at the template level, API access at many of these LLMs or layer two products often require subscriptions — especially once the number of generations exceeds a certain limit. And, of course, a CMS subscription at Webflow will run you about $29/month (not including website hosting, etc.).

Here are some of our favorite free and paid AI business templates:

Memberstack’s Premium AI Business Template

https://www.memberstack.com/webflow-templates/premium-ai-business-template

Price: $64 if you have an active Memberstack subscription and $144 if you do not. Make starts at $9/month (a free option is available, although you are very likely to run out of operations very quickly).

Here at Memberstack, we have created an AI business template which gives you all the tools you’ll need to create a business around selling your prompts (along with some features you might not yet know you’d like to have). For each prompt, you will be able to take inputs from the user, connect them to the OpenAI API via Make, and then output the generated content. This premium template, which is available at a discount for existing Memberstack customers, features:

  • Erstellung von Kopien in Echtzeit
  • OpenAI/ChatGPT-Integration (über Make)
  • Kommentierung in Echtzeit
  • Einfaches System zur Erstellung von Eingabeaufforderungen
  • Privates & sicheres Benutzerprotokoll

The template features 30 premade prompts (covering a wide variety of use cases) which you can keep as they are, replace with your own prompts, or use in some combination of the two. In addition to the template, you’ll receive a pre-made Make scenario blueprints for each prompt, comprehensive tutorial videos, access to a private Slack group, and direct support from Memberstack staff.

We might be a bit biased, but this is a really excellent option for anyone looking to quickly productize and sell their prompts to customers.

Muse AI — AI SaaS Template by Wunderbar

https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/muse-ai-f3a3e5

Price: Free

This template for an AI SaaS company website is great for any business looking for a sleek and approachable design for an existing AI SaaS product. It features great looking site animations (powered by SwiftJS) which are very aligned with current design trends in the AI space. The template itself includes a Homepage, Pricing page, Contact page, a CMS-powered Blog archive, a CMS Blog template as well as utility pages.

The homepage features sections for product demonstrations, customer testimonials, feature descriptions and pricing information. Again, because this template does not include any information or templates to actually build your AI product, you’ll need to come to this one with a product already ready. For some information on how you might approach this, check out the section below.

Satalia — AI Business Landing Page by Syed

https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/Satalia

Price: Free

This AI business landing page is a stunning option for agencies or advanced software companies looking to showcase their business to potential customers. It features a large animation at the top of the page and a minimalist, text heavy design below. As you scroll through the homepage, animated sections come into view showing product offerings, testimonials, social media posts, and other relevant media. It all ties together in a visually appealing and informative website which would be great for any AI business looking to impress potential customers.

As with the template above, this does not offer any assistance with the actual development of your AI application. You’ll need to have your service or product offerings already developed before you’ll be able to use this template.

ChatGPT Essay Writer Website (Webflow + OpenAI) by Memberstack

https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/subscription-site-template-chatgpt

Price: Free (requires: OpenAI Subscription which is $20/month)

This is another template we’ve created in-house here at Memberstack. This is a great option for a ChatGPT Essay Writer company — although the principles of long-form text generation have many applications unrelated to lazy high schoolers. Think of this as a no-code clone for popular AI writing apps like Jarvis.ai or copy.ai.

The website allows users to input a word count and topic. After some loading time, it will then generate an essay of the specific length and about the specific topic, saved in a templated dashboard environment. Using accounts managed by Memberstack, users will be able to collect and delete their generated essays.

This site works via a scenario in Make, connected to your Webflow application via two webhooks which send your prompt into the OpenAI API and then into a Webflow CMS item. The prompt in this template is very simple: “Write an essay about codeblock[topic] using roughly codeblock[wordcount] words.” This prompt could be modified for any number of more specific purposes depending on what you want your business to do. Deleting posts is also handled by another Make scenario.

Here is a video tutorial on setting this site up:

AI Image Generator SaaS with Wized & Xano & Leonardo AI by TheInnerPoint (WizedDev)

https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/wized-ai-image-generator

Price: Free (although LeonardoAI Basic API plan is $9/month)

This is a great template for anyone interested in getting involved in the AI image generation SaaS space. It uses Wized (a no-code Javascript development platform designed for Webflow), Xano (a no-code backend development platform) and Leonardo.ai (an AI image generator with API access) to create a prompt-based image generator website. The template itself just features this image generator, so you’ll need to find other page design or user account integrations elsewhere.

I highly recommend watching the setup tutorial for this site from creator WizedDev here. It outlines exactly how each of these platforms interact with each other in order to create this seamless user experience. I’d only recommend this one to advanced users, though, because it does require some understanding of attributes in Webflow and JS.

How do I choose the right Plugin for me?

Because of the highly volatile nature of the AI industry right now, it can be hard to determine the best stack of software to use for your project. It is still too early to know which platforms will become the incumbent players and which will get acquired or made obsolete by competitors.  The right selections for you will depend on what you are comfortable using and what you’re trying to accomplish.

Make.com vs. Zapier

Integromat vs. Zapier: How Should You Automate Your Workflow?

In the world of automation platforms which can integrate with genAI tools, Make and Zapier are unquestionably the market leaders. Both platforms offer easy-to-use visual design environments in which you can create automated workflows. Some of the key differences include:

  • Pricing: Make is significantly less expensive to use than Zapier — especially if you are not running too many operations each month. The Core (Basic) subscription to Make is $9/month while the Starter Plan at Zapier is $29/month.
  • Zapier features far more integrations (6,000+) than Make (1,700+). However, this may be a misleading metric because the actual number of API integrations at Zapier are not reflected in the number of connections. The best way to understand this is to compare integration capabilities for the specific apps you plan to use.
  • Each site offers specific tools (Zapier is integrating AI in the workflow design process and Make’s scenario editor offers a more visual design process). Comparison there will come down to personal preference.

If you are just getting started with your AI business, we’d probably recommend Make.com purely on the basis of its lower cost. As you scale and uncover more complex issues which may note be solvable with Make, perhaps a switch to Zapier could be needed (although I can’t think of a specific scenario in which this would likely happen).

API Plugins

While it is hard to say exactly what the “most important” AI-powered integrations might be, there are a few standout players in the space right now. They each offer specific use cases and should be explored based on the requirements of your business.

OpenAI: OpenAI is by far the most popular option for developers looking for an out-of-the-box solution for generative AI. They have released a suite of tools alongside an easy-to-use API which simplify a variety of tasks, from text generation to the creation of images and audio. Some of their most popular tools (all with API access) include:

  • GPT4 Turbo: the latest generation model from OpenAI. It has a 128k “context window” which allows for the equivalent of 300 pages of text in a prompt. It is also cheaper and faster than previous models.
  • GPT4: the previous model. Has a smaller context window and is a bit more expensive.
  • GPT3.5: available to non-subscribers. Significantly more primitive LLM model.
  • Whisper: automatic speech recognition (ASR) system for speech recognition.
  • Dalle3: text-to-image system for generating images from prompts.

Note: ChatGPT Premium and OpenAI API are billed separately, meaning that you do not need to be a paying ChatGPT user to use the API. The most common GPT-4 Turbo model (codeblock[gpt-4-0125-preview]) currently costs $0.01 for every 1,000 tokens (which is the equivalent of about 750 words).

However, OpenAI is not the only option for developers. Other models (each with the ability to connect to an automation platform like Make.com) include:

Text Generation

  • Claude (Anthropic): a major alternative to OpenAI. In general, it is thought  to have a stronger emphasis on accuracy, content moderation, and source citation. However, ChatGPT is widely believed to be better at content creation (in a variety of formats) and is an overall more advanced tool. [1]
  • Hugging Face: an open source alternative to OpenAI based on Meta’s LlaMA LLM. It offers an extremely varied selection of multi-modal generative models. There’s a bit of a learning curve, so I’d only suggest this to people with some experience with the subject.

Image Generation

  • Midjourney: state-of-the art image generation software. V6 (which came out in early January of 2024) is widely believed to be the industry leader in image generation. With the exception of some super users (with more than 5,000 generated images), it is hosted entirely on Discord.
  • Pricing: Midjourney Basic Plan starts at $10/month (and includes most features you’ll need to get started
  • NOTE: there are currently no API offerings from Midjourney. Previously there were two integrations (a Midjourney Add-On and a user-created API called The Next Leg — but both have been discontinued due to a lack of API support from Midjourney). If you see these on the Make integrations page, know that they are no longer available.

Audio Generation

  • ElevenLabs: specialized in developing natural-sounding speech synthesis and text-to-speech (TTS) software. Offers pre-made voices, custom-generated voices using their Voice Design service, and voice cloning.

Video Generation

  • Synthesia: text-to-video service using avatars and voiceovers into 120+ languages.

Again, this is not a comprehensive list of services that are out there right now. Each of these tools can be integrated into either the products that you offer on your site or the marketing that you use to reach out to customers. Picking the right one for you will require you to develop a familiarity with each product. The best way to do that is to spend some time in the free or starter tiers for each and see which processes can be augmented with the tools.

Schlussfolgerung

Navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of AI business opportunities requires a strategic approach to selecting tools and platforms that align with your business goals. Whether you're integrating AI into SaaS solutions, showcasing generative content, or offering specialized agency services, the key to success lies in leveraging the right Webflow templates and plugins. By focusing on customization, user experience, and innovative integration, businesses can carve out a niche in this dynamic field, offering unique value to their customers and staying ahead in the competitive world of AI technology.
